M2L2 — SIMPLE Project

Mobile Metaverse Learning Lab (M2L2) is an open-source, self-contained box housing VR headsets and a server, designed to make deploying immersive learning experiences in classrooms as simple as possible.

Repository Structure

m2l2/
├── hardware/ # Blueprints, BOM, assembly guides, and component specs
└── software/ # Mac Mini setup and configuration tools (zsh scripts, etc.)
  • hardware/ — Everything you need to build or replicate the physical M2L2 box.
  • software/ — Tools to provision the recommended Mac Mini to run the SIMPLE project.

Getting Started

  1. Build the box — Follow the hardware guide to assemble your M2L2 unit.
  2. Set up the server — Use the software setup tools to configure the Mac Mini.
  3. Deploy — You're ready to bring VR into the classroom!
